Steve and Jeannine regale the listeners with tales of traveling woe.

Yeah, we're still alive. I'm afraid we really have no good reason for not producing more shows except that we've both been particularly busy at our respective regular jobs. No Spine Radio does not pay all the bills :)
Music: The Moist Towelettes Eric's Trip (As a side note, some of Steve's photos have been featured in the Wikipedia article for Eric's Trip/Rick White.)

We're back after another month of no shows, hopefully we don't suck.

This was the result of one of the few times that Jeannine and I were able to get together this summer. Hopefully it's good for you too.

Jeannine and I still haven't been able to actually be in the same place at the same time long enough to get a show together, so what Steve does in these sorts of circumstances is play some music that nobody else likes. Here he goes again.
Music: Julie Doiron - Me and my Friend The Maynards - Pauline's Jeans The Superfantastics - Oh! How you used to know me well back then. B.A. Johnston - Fantasy Life The Memories Attack - Summertime Eric's Trip - Evie, Sickness

Again, we missed a week, but such is the summertime. Here's something for all of you who asked, "Please, sir. May I have some more."

At long last, it's episode #107 of Spine Radio. Jeannine may be on her way to Cleveland, Ohio next week, but hopefully we'll be able to get a show out anyway.
Google notebook...not that there's really much in it this week. Music: Liam Mather - Pour Me Another

So, you caught us red handed. We're slacking off again. We're in the middle of the summer party circuit, and our schedules are busy busy busy. I've actually been expriencing regular bouts of, er...outsided-ness, and I must say, each one is rewarding in its own way.
If you were worried that we've given it up, fear not. I just have to convince Jeannine that this room isn't really messy; messy is just a state of mind, and we'll be back at the mic entertaining all of you eager listeners out there. For those of you that are interested in checking out one of the things I've been up to in the rather large expanse between Spine Radio shows, go visit the myspace page of one Liam Mather. I recorded and produced, while he sang and played guitar on his old but newly recorded track, "Pour Me Another". Go have a listen and tell him what you think.

Happy birthday to Steve and Jeannine! One birthday after another, and much, much drinking.

It's Jeannine's birthday on Monday. No, I won't say how old she is ;) But the upshot of that is that she's been partying all weekend, and doing other birthday-related things, so we won't have the chance to record until later in the week.
I wouldn't hold my breath for #107 either, if I were you. It's my birthday next weekend :) Posted by SpineRadio on 2007-05-22 00:20:04
Yeah, it's a day late, but it's a long weekend (Victoria Day for the Yanks), so we waited a day to record.

Better late than never, right? We start off with Jeannine on the shitty end of a Google Talk conversation, but we evnetually come to our senses and get her back in the studio.

Jeannine has been in Cape Breton, and apparently staying up until the wee hours because we couldn't get our times synchronized enough to even record a show with her on skype. We'll see if we can pull it together and have something for you before too long.
Stay cool, Steve. Posted by SpineRadio on 2007-05-06 19:25:21
Mostly talking about points brought up in emails. We get word nerdy and talk about Steve's facial hair.

We play a favourite clip that we missed in the Best of Spine Radio, and talk a bit about shopping carts, taxes, and vacations.

Kind of a sedate show, to be honest. Homelessness, voice mails, and Steve's stove exploding feature prominently.

If you do something enough times, eventually you'll have done it 100 times. This apparently also holds true for Spine Radio. Thanks to Tanya, Jenn, Keely, Liam, Sandy, and Tim for joining Steve and Jeannine in the studio, and for all the listeners to the live show. Actually, let me know how the quality of the live feed was...I'm curious.

Here we go, these are the clips we've selected from the past two years that we consider to be the best of Spine Radio. Hopefully you agree. If not, you know how to find us.

Tangents upon tangents, we wander hopelessly toward the inevitable episode 100...well, it's inevitable because we keep putting out shows. People actually seem to care if we don't :)
Google notebook Music: Higher Than Today - Beautiful Disguise Elevator to Hell - Why I didn't like August '93 If somebody from CKDU reads this, I've created a separate version that cuts off at 1 hour for "on-the-air" purposes.
